Finding Your Why

Finding your purpose is not always the easiest thing. I have struggled with finding my purpose for the last 8 years. It has absolutely taken a toll on me. I used to think that I was a failure and I just wasn’t going to do anything with my life, which would totally be fine because at most I am a mother to two wonderfully beautiful kids and I have an incredible husband. My drive for more is just so forceful.

So, you may be wondering how I finally figured out my why? Here are three things that I did that may help you:

  1. I made a list of all of the things I loved. You do not need to think too hard on this one. I want you to just write down whatever comes to mind when you think about what you’re passionate about.
  2. This may take some time. Go ahead and start researching what job or path you can take with each specific passion.
Pick one or two or three and put them into action.
  3. I do not believe in limiting yourself. If you find a couple of things that you would like to do, go for it. Women are strong and fearless. You can do whatever you set your mind to.
What are my passions and career paths? I won’t go into detail too much because I don’t want you to just pick something that I’m passionate about or that I do. Blogging is one of them though. I have been blogging since I was in the 7th grade. It is something that I have loved for so long.

Blogging is easy if you find something you want to write about. Women empowerment is one of the topics that I chose mainly because I grew up with a father who belittled women. I’ll speak more on that at a later date.

What passions did you find? What path did you decide on taking?
