First of all, who doesn’t love a good playlist to listen to? Music has played a big part in my life. I can listen to certain songs and remember the time, place, and moment it made an impact in my life. Therefore, it would be crazy to not include it in my fitness lifestyle. Did I mention that listening to music during a workout releases happy endorphins? There’s just something about the beat of the music that motivates me and pushes me harder. I like to listen to all different genres of music. I am really not picky. I’ve noticed that Pop or Rap motivates me the most during my workouts though. What’s stopping you from adding these to your playlist right now? There’s always the option to listen to a pre-made playlist on Spotify, Pandora, or iHeartRadio too; whichever is easiest for you. I’m picky and certain songs on those playlists just don’t do it for me when I’m working out so I end up having to stop and change the song which tends to slow me down. What are your favorite songs to listen to while you’re doing cardio or working out? Do you notice a difference in your workouts when you listen to music?
I’m definitely looking into getting wireless headphones. That will more than likely be my next purchase. Also, I’ve noticed that a lot of people have trouble with where to put their phone while they’re working out. I just put mine on the inside of my pants on the back. It works for me.
